This morning - like many others - involved me waking up at 4am, staring at the ceiling for 10 minutes hoping sleep would come, only to turn on reruns of Sister Wives to keep me company
until it was time to be awake for reals.
I managed to make coffee AND curl my hair today. Not bad.
Still, it was an average morning.
And then, out of nowhere on my way to work, I see this:
I was stopped at a light. Perfectly safe photo op, I promise.
Perked me right up, I'll tell you.
The first rainbow of the year, reminding me that even an average morning has all kinds
of potential to turn into an amazing day. And that God is good.
